A heads-up - Sandbar is super pricey. It's owned by Andrew Weissman, who is the chef owner of Le Reve next door, a place considered one of the top five restaurants in Texas.

Sandbar doesn't have a "Manhattan Clam Chowder", but they do have a killer Blue Crab Chowder (and Lobster Bisque).

And it's not super pricey, either. A big bowl is less than $10, and they have lots of salads, rolls, etc. for a bit more than $10.

A couple of newer seafood places in town might be worth looking into for Manhattan chowder: Wildfish Grille and Fish City Grill. I haven't been to either one, but they are both chains and likely have menus posted online.
