I don't like Wisconsin people or Wisconsin weather. In my 2 years of living in Texas, I have found myself the happiest I've been in my life. Food-wise, there's a lot more options, be it authentic mexican, BBQ, a lot of foods that either are not offered or if they are offered are pretty much bland and tasteless. My previous comment about Culvers was about food. Yes, I like Wisconsin cheese. But a major part of it for me is that I have the feeling of been there, done that.

We used to have a Seafood Buffet on 410 where you chose your Entree, I think( Lobster, Beef etc) then you went through the line and they had things like shrimp, steamed clams and such. At the time it was $21.95...I'm going back 15 - 20 years ago. It was wonderful. You are so right....we need a good "Cape Cod" Seafood Restaurant. We go home once a year and you can buy lobster, out of the shell, for $39.00 a pound. Just tail meat or a mixture of claw and tail. Sea Island has some pretty good chowder and fish but we need another one with lobster. Red Lobster is too pricey for what you get. I would be willing to pay for a good seafood meal if it was worth it!

According to the Express-News, California Pizza Kitchen has signed a lease for the old Harold's space at the Quarry. About time we saw a second location and one in town too!

YES!! About damn time! I was wondering for years and years why we hadn't gotten multiple locations as popular of a place it is. There pizza's are fantastic and other food too. Kinda like Pappadeux and Pappasitos........when the hell will we see another location for both of these?

That was the "BOSTON SEA PARTY" and it was great, even for a buffet. The dessert table was something else too!

PAPPADAEUX had all you can eat whole lobsters a few years ago

From what I understand, the Pappaduex's in Houston all have All you can eat lobster only because there are more than a couple in town, compared to only one in San Antonio. If they did have it here too at one time, I never knew about it.
