I checked on the Fuddrucker's at Bandera Road and 1604 today. It's closed also. I am wondering about the original one on Botts Lane.

The Fuddrucker's website lists all San Antonio locations as being "temporarily" closed.

Was the signage still there at the Bandera Road location? Or did it look like it had been vacated and stripped?

Ugh. This is heart breaking. We would go there all the time when we moved here in the late 80s.

Lubby's and Fudrucker's were on the ropes before the Pandemic. The pandemic was just the haymaker that sent them to the mat as a KO. My guess is those "temporarily closed" locations will not re-open.

I’ve been thinking that the pandemic has demonstrated just how there were too many places to eat out at.

I’m partially ok with these weaker chains dying out. There are not enough innovative places to eat when there are the same old chains.

They are coming right along with the Magnolia Pancake House in Schertz-Cibolo.Walls are up, but to me it seems awfully close to the acess road. Heard they are putting Willie's Ice House over in the Santikos Cibolo shopping area near the newly opened Dunkin(Donuts).

Noticed TGI Friday's at 410/McCullough has closed. Signage has been removed, and a "For Lease" banner hangs on the outside wall of the building.

The property that TGIF sat on was bought back in 2013 by a shell corporation with a listed address the same as In-N-Out's real estate development. It was speculated at the time that it would be their first location in San Antonio.
