When I sit in endless traffic on SW Military Drive I don't have a small town peaceful easy feeling. No it doesn't have a small town feel, Somerset and Lytle do but not San Antonio.

Default A mundane topic,

However. San Antonio is not a small town. Sure Greater Lytle is but it is not even relevant. Lytle is not
relative because San Antonio is not a Mayberry and cannot be considered in the same category
as Lytle or say Elmendorf.
A small town feel compared to other large metropolitan areas, yes, San Antonio does have the small town
mentality still. A feeling.
One is not anonymous, the people here do not have the big town mentality- your own business keep to myself, look the other way- frame of mind that other giant cities already have. Yet..... that is.

Heck, plus, I drove from Hwy 151 and Military where I filled up the SUV and drove to I-10 and Loop 410 towards Seguin in under twenty minutes. Through two construction zones! This is small town time for crossing totally across a big city. One on one. This is great in comparison to some cities where I have lived.
I drove to Houston that day and that was nuts, there! Traffic? Really? The Toll Rd. payment booth points looked like the border crossing in Laredo! Backed up. I hope we are not headed in this direction.

One work zone here in town, was on 151 as I began and the other on HWY 90 and Cupples Rd.
