I couldn't find one at HD or Lowe's, so I wondered if any stores in the greater SA area actually has any in stock. I need to find one because people looking for another street in my subdivision are erroneously directed to turn into our driveway by some kind of GPS navigation system. You hear stories about people directed into lakes, rivers, off cliffs, etc. Well, I'm getting tired of people being sent here, then they're confused and want to know where Road X is or where so-and-so lives. One company was unloading a refrigerator onto our driveway when I walked out to ask them what they were doing a while back. It wasn't our refrigerator, needless to say!

If possible do try to ask what GPS system they are using then contact the mappers to report the error.

If your device is up to date -- or if you are concerned about errors on other people's devices -- use the links below to report the problem directly to the map makers.

Good luck.

In the meantime, a trusty "no trespassing" sign usually gets peoples attention.

Thanks, all of you! I think I'll order one online, then put it up when it arrives. Guess I should ask next time about what exactly the people looking for the street are using. I've done searches online and two different online maps also have the same error for that street. The sites show the street connected to two different roads, but it really only connects to one. I've contacted those two sites now, explaining the error and asking them to fix it. Fortunately for us, the street is short, so not very many people live there.
