Question for you long termers there in San Antonio. Back in the mid 1980's when i used to visit my cousin in San Antonio we used to go to Midnight Rodeo country western night club and it was awesome. It was a huge like a half block long if i remember with a giant circular dance floor kinda like a roller derby style floor. Anyway my cousin passed away several years ago so obviously i can't ask her but i've always wondered if that club still exists or like most have either been renamed or closed down.

Anyway it was great memories even though i'm into rock and not country western....

Thanks Eleanor......We were discussing on the El Paso threads about those of us who lived in El Paso back iin the 80's and the night clubs we went to back then as Country Western was taking off big time do to Urban Cowboy came out in 1980 and it made me reminisce to when i used to visit my cousin back in the 80's in SA and we'd go to Midnight Rodeo. Loved tubing at the Guadalupe River back then also. Anyway thats cool it still exists.....
