My husband bought a four post antique off white washed bed for our daughter from craigs list and it is missing the four knobs that go at the top of the bed posts.
Can anyone recommend a place where I can buy replacements. I was thinking a furniture store?
Thank you.

I've worked in furniture stores and none I have known will sell parts. If you know the brand and model number of the bed (which should be on a sticker on the back of the headboard if it isn't too old... as they tend to peel and fade.. though some companies use a stamp), you should be able to find a manufacturer or wholesaler website and search it out.

Thank you. I will look for that. I figured I would be wasting my time going to furniture stores. I will try on line. I think I figured it out that they are called finials?

Depending on how thick the poles are, you might be able to find unfinished wood finials at Home Depot, or if the poles are narrow, then curtain rod finials might work, or even some of the neat antique-looking drawer pulls or door knobs at Hobby Lobby...they have a whole aisle of stuff like that. If you got wood ones, you could paint them to match the bed, or paint them a color that would compliment the room.

I've also heard that the Island of Naboombu has some wonderful Bed knobs.
