Yes, sadly, they went out of business. I'd recommend River City Gun Exchange on Fruitridge and 24th. Outside Sacramento, I'd recommend Badger John's Huntin Stuff on Date Avenue, or Great Outdoors on Auburn Boulevard. Broadway Bait Rod & Gun has some long arms, aimed mostly at hunting/fisherman market.

the older caucasion with glasses guy that works at RIVER CITY is an @ss! hole!

tried to buy some ammo and he gave me a ripped open package, and I asked if I could have the sealed ones? and he would not give me the sealed ones and said Im becomming too much of a hassle, I dont plan on going back.

the other guys are friendly, but that one older white guy shouldnt be working there.

A shame old sac armory closed. It might have had something to do with the owner getting caught up in a federal investigation into the former county sheriff's alleged practice of giving concealed weapons permits to campaign contributors -- regardless of their background, need, or criminal records.

Old Sacramento Armoury when out of business when the ATF revoked Ed Faust's license due to his alzheimers. He know longer knows who he is.

Try River City Gun Exchange

Bought my first gun last week at J&G in Granite Bay, they were the nicest, prices were below most internet prices and they helped with everything from beginning to end.. Glad I ended up going there first..

Don't know about the "crook" part but I thought they really had an attitude. Consequently, didn't part company with any of my money there. Wasn't sorry to see their doors close.
