Really long drawn out story short. My husband had an assignment to another base, that assignment may be cancelled, because we have a 7 y/o with moderate autism and the base we were going to has no autism services. He is looking for another job flying, and there is a position open at Beale that he qualifies for. But we are not sure about autism services in the area. We plan on living in Lincoln, Rockland, or Citrus Heights, and commuting. Are there any parents of children with autism on this site that could give me any positives/negatives about living in this area? What are the waiting lists like? What about the school districts? Any advice?
