This has a greater impact than the 50 (projected) jobs you mentioned.

"For three years, the Rochester region was among the state's leaders in private job growth.But that trend is in reverse.The state Labor Department reported Thursday that, though the state increased private-sector jobs in January compared to the same month in 2012, the five-county Rochester region lost 600 jobs over the same time frame. When government and farm jobs were added, the region added 200 jobs over the period. ..."

No wonder people are moving away!

"There were 515,400 jobs in Rochester, New York in April 2013 according to the CES survey of employers. The CPS survey of households showed 481,093 employed persons for the month.*Rochester lost 1,000 jobs in April 2013 according to the CES survey."
