For several years now, my Frontier landline has busted every year, like clockwork. This happened even before the windy weekend, and the wind just turned it from unusable to completely silent. Before the windy episode I lost a pretty important call because the rows of pulses in the audio obscured the caller's number on the answering machine.

I ditched Frontier for my Internet because they had NO technical people available to answer questions, under any circumstances. Apparently they have no technical people to run the phone company either.

I just like having a wired phone instead of having a portable phone hanging around my neck like an albatross. Using a big, wired phone -- and not having to deal with "plans" -- is just a better experience. But I guess it's time to make the jump.

Frontier is #%$& useless.

Frontier is horrible and part of the reason why we lack decent options for great internet around here.
Also their customer service is annoying. When I sign up for a service, I don't want to get people selling me things while on the line for technical issues. I find it tacky that they try to sell me things when I call about a service issue.
