When it's nothing more than projection, no, it doesn't strengthen it. It's highly inappropriate behavior.

I couldn't be in bigger disagreement with you & I'm more than fine with that. But, regardless here's wishing you a Happy Independence Day! It's a special day.

Man shot overnight in the Manton section of the city. Still developing. I see a rough summer ahead.

A shooting on Sunday as well. 19-year-old woman shot at 839 Broad St. (corner of Congress Ave.), in the Elmwood Section of South Providence.

https://www.providencejournal.com/ne...here-on-monday

"PROVIDENCE — Two people were injured in separate shootings early Sunday and early Monday.
In the first incident Sunday, at about 3 a.m., police went to 839 Broad St. for a report of a shooting. They found a 19-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to the left leg. She was taken to Rhode Island Hospital, where she was in stable condition at last check, according to Commander Thomas Verdi.
Witnesses told the police that there had been a social gathering in the parking lot at 839 Broad St. when two men on the fourth floor started arguing with people below. They went out of the rear door and continued to argue. A man started firing into the crowd of people before taking off in a white Ford sedan, the police said."
