Affordable internet in Middletown/Newport (apartment, credit card, home)

Hello,

I am moving to Middletown. My apartment does not have internet and I am interested in getting wireless or regular internet service, but NOT TV, or home telephone. I do not watch TV or use a landline. Verizon/Cox internet requires you to bundle and is 40/month. I simply cannot afford that type of extra expense.

Do you all know of any wireless or internet providers that offer internet service at a reasonable rate?

I think Verizon offers Internet-only service, but they require a credit card for monthly billing. If I recall, the cost is about $48 per month.

You can get just internet service from Cox. You don't have to bundle. Go their website and just select "internet".
