Remember when Pernell Roberts quit the show? It was such a big deal. He was my favorite and my heart was broken. I graduated from high school that year. Let's talk immature........and glad of it. I had a very long childhood.

I used to take notice of all that even as a kid. I'd take notice of the heavy makeup, eyelashes, and bleached teased up hairdos that were NOT in sync with the period. I probably just accepted it, is all.

But while that part of it looks even more ridiculous to me now, I still do enjoy 'Bonanza' and 'Gunsmoke' and all the old shows.

I was a big fan of the High Chaparral.
I miss it...sob.
