Well, lets kick this one off. Reno is spending 36 million dollars on building a baseball stadium in the downtown area on Second Street. They project filling the stadium on a regular basis and that it will be a draw for approximately a 300 mile radius. It will support a minor league team. Share your thoughts please...

It will definitely help bring downtown up. People moaned and complained when they built Pac Bell in SF and said it would destroy the area. Well that area is now the fastest growing spot in SF.

I say good.

Baseball is big?? Is that why Moana Stadium is defunct? In my opinion, the money spent on this stadium weould have been better spent on, oh say, education???

Yeah that would work out nicely.

Oh wait, wasn't that the plan under Guinn? You must have missed the "more money = better education" racket.
