I remember they used to hire the most attractive women there as cocktail waitresses. I think I saw the most beautiful woman that I ever saw in my whole life there and she was a cocktail waitress. This was the casino across the street from Harrahs. I do not think other casinos in Reno could have compared to Fitzgeralds in terms of how beautiful their cocktail waitresses were.

In short, Fitzgeralds in Reno reminded me of the Las Vegas casinos on how beautiful their cocktail waitresses are.

Sadly, Fitzgeralds closed down a while back ago.

Is Fitzgeralds closed for good? I thought they closed to remodel. I would like to see it open again. I know the gaming business in Reno is SLOW these days

It is going to open hopefully at the end of the summer. It will be called Commrow, and will be non-gaming. It will have the worlds tallest rock climbing wall, a huge bouldering park, and a skatepark on the roof.

It will be very interesting to see if its successful. They're obviously trying to build on the success of the whitewater park and on Reno's outdoorsy image. I really don't know how it will do but I wish it the best.

It went bankrupt and Fitzgeralds will never be back at Reno. Anyway, the nice cocktail waitress uniforms which Fitzgeralds was known for will never be back. This is the casino I look forward to go to in Reno but it is now closed.

You have a very interesting, perhaps racially offensive name. as far as Fitzgeralds cocktail waitresses, I'm not sure what decade you're referring to, bc when I used to go there in the 90's and 00's, they weren't that hot. Sure their outfits were skimpy, but if you wanted really hot waitresses, Silver Legacy and Eldorado always had these hot, young Polish blondes during the summer back in the mid-00's. A few married Reno dudes. I dated one. Cal-Neva has some hot ones surprisingly. They usually have 40 year-olds who DO NOT look good in skimpy outfits. The new Siena has a bunch of hot ones, but I think after a while they'll realize they're only make 25 cent tips off the near homeless guys that hang out there and quit.

Cal neva's are pretty nice looking. Harrahs are really friendly and just so so but hey..they bring me free drinks! Sands...well there is a reason its located on Fourth street..some of theirs are pulling double duty outside the casino as well.
