Genesis 2:7 says Adam became a living soul ( person ) after God breathed the breath of life into lifeless Adam.
Where does it say that Adam 'came to have ' a soul or ' came to posses ' a soul, rather Adam was a soul.
So, Adam had No use of his mind/brain or body before receiving the breath of life.
Adam went from non-life, to life, and ' returned ' to non-lfe when Adam died.
There was No post-mortem penalty for Adam but just returning back to the ground - Genesis 3:19
A person can Not return to a place he never was before. So, all of Adam went to the dust of the ground.
And as King Solomon wrote the dead know nothing - Ecclesiastes 9:5. ( Psalms 115:17; 146:4 )

how do you know love exists? because you can feel it. you as a human can verify its existence using the tools of emotion and feeling, those are tools and measures that science rejects. you have dreams at night, but science can't detect them, nor can science prove you dreamed what you "said" you dreamed, or that you "saw" what you saw in your dream.
why can't science detect love or dreams? because science is limited in its narrow scope and the tools it uses; and the capacity of the human being to experience, see, and feel is far greater than the scope of what science can "prove" or "detect" or "measure"

Agree. It reveals the aspects of reality that science is currently precluded from measuring directly which currently comprises some 95+% of our reality.

I can't get my mind around thinking about not having a soul, it would be ridiculous to even try and contemplate.


But just because not everyone can see a soul, it doesn't mean nobody has seen one.
