Why do the Baptist's hate the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? (Mormons, prophets)

Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of God the Father in the flesh. He was the Creator, He is our Savior, and He will be our Judge. Under the direction of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the earth. Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and by giving His life on the cross—that is, by performing the Atonement—Jesus Christ saves us from our sins as we follow Him. Through His Resurrection, Jesus Christ saves us from physical death. Because He overcame death, we will all be given the gift of resurrection.
"We declare in words of solemnity that His priesthood and His Church have been restored upon the earth—'built upon the foundation of apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone' (Ephesians 2:20).
So with this all being said, Why does everyone hate the Mormon's??
I'm Baptist and do not hate LDS -- or anyone else for that matter. We have different and fundamental theological views. That's why I'm Baptist and you're LDS! (Oh, and btw, I loved Ken Jennings on Jeopardy!)
I think sometimes differences in some theology spark debates between the two, but I as a Christian, and since Im still a Southern Baptist, I can say I dont hate Mormons, or anybody else for that matter.
Well...one thing that comes to mind is that Mormon's are hypocritical in some respects. For example, they are not allowed to smoke because it's a sin, but they have no problems owning stock in cigarette companies. So it's okay for them to profit from the sins of others. To me, that's like saying it's okay to be a pimp since you're not the one actually doing the prostitution.

There's hypocrites in every religion and every group of people. Just because some Mormons do this does not make it right. Yes it is hypocritical but like any other group of people, they are just human. Do not judge a whole group of people on the actions of a few hypocrites.
I used to be mormon but I left the church and got saved. I do not hate them either....matter of fact, I love them dearly and pray for them often.
