nevermind.
i never said i wasn't going, but at least i try to avoid making things worse for me if i do go instead of being ignorant. hell is real you just can't see it...yet.
There is no devil, there is no god, they are both figments of overactive ancient imaginations, fables designed to scare children into behaving.
Possibly...or possibly not. The catch is that when you--or anyone else--finds out the truth of the matter, letting everyone else know is a bit of a problem.
Hell is one of religion's work of fiction, although from a biblical view hell is a lake of fire with wailing and gnashing of teeth where unbelievers go to spend eternity after they die.

Which hell is that? The belief in hell originated from ancient pagan religions such as Norse paganism. Christianity adopted the concept of hell long afterwards. Why do you think that your version of hell is true, but everyone else's is false?
My feeling is that while there is no actual place called hell where people are tormented.....when we all die we are natually drawn to other spirits like ourselves...not much different than life on earth. People who are alike tend to group together since they feel more comfortable around others like them.
So imagine what it would be like in the spirit world where there are no secrets. If you're a misserable, selfish and evil person....guess what those around you are going to be like ? Yup, just like you. Imagine what living in those conditions would be like where there are few if any good qualities in any of the spirits....one could maybe call that "hell" for lack of a better name. I would think that far from being a warm or hot place it would actually be a avery cold and foreboding place....not at all like the hot place the bible describes it as.
It would be important to note that there would be many places from slightly better than hell all the way to hundreds if not thousands of levels of heaven. It just makes sense if you look at the world around you know. People group with others of similar values, traits, skill levels, income levels etc...When you die nothing matters except what kind of person you were. Good and kind or nasty and evil....and of course a whole lot of people inbetween. Better like yourself because you'll be around people just like you are now....good or bad.
Very interesting opinion, reps
You actually get near to my personal opinion only in one aspect (people will get with the ones they're like them in morals, heart, etc)
The difference in some points
First, they be in body and sprit not just spirit,
And the ones who did crimes will suffer punishment till they are purified from their crimes,
Then they'll go to heaven if they have one atom of good in their heart,
Or stay in hell not in torture, but not in joy also, living the life they choose.
