Well they are not stars, so what stars as vacuums are you talking about?

Not once in your holy book has it produce anything that wasn't inheritable obvious to human beings. It does not talk about black holes, galaxies, relativity, microorganisms, evolution, nuclear physics, or the insignificance of our planet compared to the rest of the universe.

Carl Sagan thoughts about our home is far more moving then the primitive notions in your "holy" scriptures.

Black holes do not "suck" just another obvious attempt at re translating the quran to fit the evidence.

81.13. And when Paradise is brought near (for the God-revering, pious to enter)

81.14. Every person will (then) come to know what he has prepared (for himself).

81.15. Oh, I swear by the stars which recede (disappearing in the sun's light),

81.16. And rise in their course, and then set (disappearing again);

81.17. And by the night as it inclines to depart;

Do you think that maybe...possibly...there's just the tiniest little chance that the authors of the Quran were taking a bit of poetic license, as opposed to stating literal fact?

No the glass is 99.99% empty, and you are only looking at the 0.01% then claiming the glass is full.
That's exactly what I think you where trying to get me to think though your re translation.

But nay! I swear by that which you see,
And that which you do not see.
Most surely, it is the Word brought by an honored Messenger,
And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe;
Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind.
It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings,
We would certainly have seized him by the right hand,
Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta.
And not one of you could have withheld Us from him.
And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil).
And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters.
And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers.
And most surely it is the true certainty
Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

44 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings,
45 We would certainly have seized him by the right hand,
46 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta.
47 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him.
48 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil).

52 Therefore-glorify the name of your Lord, the Great.

and i was replaying to the post of Fred314X when he said
that maybe...possibly...there's just the tiniest little chance that the authors of the Quran were taking a bit of poetic license.

so i put the answer for his question from the words of Allah him self (of course translation of the meaning) because the word of Allah is in arabic.

the answer was in verse no. 41
And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe;

and these verses that you bolded them

46 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta.
47 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him.

it was for the prophet Muhammed peace and blessings of allah be upon him

if he says any word other than the words he gets from Allah then Allah would punish him .
