Why?...
You have it backwards, the church didn't conquer Rome, Rome conquered the church by converting it's lost converts right back to the same religion they kept in Rome. Gentiles departed and left the worship system of God in a legal conversion back to the ways of Rome, and the ways of Rome come from Babylon.

Why are Jews now a threat to Rome after it became Christian?

You can go back to Jeroboam and see why he separated his kingdom from Jerusalem and Judah and EXACTLY WHY Jeroboam and his people HAD TO HATE Jews.

Christianity had to make Jews look evil because they had to make the ways of God evil, and it is as simple as that. They need a way to convert to another religion so that Jerusalem wouldn't have become the capitol of the world with every gentiles convert visiting Jerusalem as a pilgrimage and then returning with love for Jews, and the Torah.

In order for their religion to be right, they must prove the religion of God wrong, and the Jews are still following God, so this doesn't make sense, it doesn't make sense because they suppose themselves to be the new Jerusalem, and so your being here and keeping the ways of God is not only an insult, it is a threat to them. If Jews are still here following the ways of God, it is a threat against the whole world, against the nature and doctrine of Christianity and Islam.

How could you be here when all those great prophesies are really speaking of them?

2000 years ago, Jesus was the suffering Messiah, and since the Jews didn't believe Jesus, they themselves made the Jews into a suffering nation and now don't want to admit that you are also a suffering servant.

Conversion is conversion, they converted to Judaism and then they converted back to their former ways of Rome, and Rome Conquered them.

So the Jews stood alone not only being abandoned, but then to be persecuted by the very people who abandoned them.

Not only did the Gentile Christians abandon their supposed ,'' Co-Heir,'' and the religion of the Messiah, Jesus spoke of this division everywhere he went in everything he said.

''A man had two sons, and one runs off to herd swine and becomes a dead man''

Not only does this story show the fact of the history of the two kingdoms, it shows the future of Christianity running away from the father and leaving the brother to become lawless until he realizes he is dead because of it.

When the servant who is made keeper over the household of God stops watching the appointed visitation days of God, the servant is cut in half and THEN the kingdom will be as ten virgins and these are the ten legal congregation of gentile believers in Christ, 5 wise who fix the covenant and 5 foolish who refuse to fix the covenant.

The covenant is where Messiah brings a covenant for two people named Ephraim and Judah, Ephraim leaves Judah in a division just as the first division went, Ephraim has left Judah again and the covenant has been broken just as the servant who was made from two men, is now cut in half.

This division is in everything Jesus says, because it is the history of mankind over and over. God chooses a people and they become his seed, and he places gentiles right next to them so they may be added into the kingdom but every time they are given the chance, they leave, they create their own worship system and because their worship system replaces the worship system of God, The children of God MUST become the enemy.

We sit here and wait for the foolish virgins to come to their wits and to do what must be done.

CO-HEIRS INDEED, How can one suddenly become co-heirs of a nation and it's inheritance to then leave his family, his heritage and then still make the claim to be co-heirs?

They should look again.

I think you are missing a couple of things.

(1) Christianity was adopted by Constantine as one of the accepted religions, and transformed it to some degree into Helios-worship. After his time, Christianity asserted its' power over the emperors and effctively the Pope became the ruler of the roman world -western part anyway. Christianity did re-conquer Rome.

(2) So, if it is correct that converting Jews became a priority for the church, that confirms the point of the topic.

What was the third? Ah yes, the suffering. The fact is that all nations get beat at times - especially if they are smallish ones. However the point has been made (by Christians, too) that, suffering or not, that they are surviving and even flourishing to this day with their own state after centuries of oblivion and frankly kicking Islamic ass. How if they are NOT God's people, is that possible? That the undeniable suffering (which easy to explain in secularist terms) does not eliminate the strong case for them still being God's people would seem to put those who argue that they are not, on the side of opposition to God.

And we all whose whose side that is.

Rome could not conquer the Jews.

They co-opted Jesus, and blamed the Jews for his death.

Rome wanted to homogenize faith and their rule. Christianity was their key. They scattered the Jews into diaspora when they leveled Jerusalem. At that point it was easy to bring some Jews into the collective.

Once Christianity became all powerful the rest is history. The Jews were no longer the priority. Rulers with different religious beliefs within Christianity took priority and fought each other.

Once the spotlight was off converting Jews they would quietly thrive until the Holocaust.

Forgetting the pogroms, the expulsions from Spain, the perodic ethnic cleansing in the various European nations and the tight regulations governing them as being always non citizens I guess you can say they thrived.

No kidding. My family ran from Spain, to France, then New France (Quebec), to here, always one step ahead of the hangman. And most people have no idea why these countries would tolerate them for awhile and then demand expulsion. The ruling monarch would borrow money from the wealthier ones to start a war, win the war, and then instead of paying them back when they got the other country's riches in their coffers, they would keep the money and get rid of their "troublesome" lenders and any chance of an uprising by expelling them all. Nice racket. Peace

My point is that the first gentile Christians were converts into Judaism and Christianity became a legal sect of Judaism with Gentiles leaving the ways of Rome to start practicing the ways of God.

The Christianity of Constantine was something else. He made laws against God, against keeping the ways of God and this was nothing like the religion of the first Christianity.

Christianity began with Passover, Pentecost and the feast of Tabernacles along with keeping God's Sabbath.

What Christianity became is something entirely different because when you change the entire worship system, you are no longer a convert to the ways of God. All they did was to fall back in the same religion as they were in before Christ came along, if you keep all your old Holy days of other Gods instead of the worship system of God, what would you have to do with the first Christianity?

Constantine was a Pagan and you couldn't get me to believe that he believed in Christ, all I see him doing is converting people away from the religion of Christ. Rome could not let all it's citizens keep the ways of Jerusalem because Jerusalem would become the capitol instead of Rome.

All Rome did was to accomplish an alienation against the Jews and Judaism after the Jewish war. They effectively converted Gentiles right back to the Pagan worship system of Rome.

At that point, I don't see Christianity conquering Rome but the other way around, but I am sure even this was meant to be. Had Christianity not fought all those years, who knows where we would be now.
