Just an observation but is there a spiritual famine going on now?
What are people's thought? Yes or No is enough if one doesn't want to say more.
Have a nice day anyway
Yes.
No.
Those will be answers you will receive. Then some variations of those two.
Then it will all be hijacked and lost.
So come to your own conclusion and be at peace with it. That always works best.
Many religions have agnostics who put God in a box , and always reject the Spirit of God on their life , and then are spiritual discern poorly , or deny Jesus Christ and have no power in the spirit ...... Still God through Jesus has a people today which is more refined than the past , as people have obeyed God and have the gifts from Jesus , where as believer who are disobedient will be weak of the power of God to overcome the earth .......

A lack of spiritual insight that gives one a sense of hope and ability to face difficulties. I ve just noticed that there are a lot of people who have questions. I wonder if life goes so fast behind the facade people get lost at times. I could be wrong but very interesting.
Thank you kindly to those folks who replied.
Famine. Millions of children go hungry every day. Their frail bodies, and bloated little bellies need nourishment, and clean water. Only those spiritually bankrupt are worried about the alleged famine of spirituality.
[My definition of "spiritual famine" is] A lack of spiritual insight that gives one a sense of hope and ability to face difficulties.
I have not personally seen "spiritual insight" to be a source of real hope and strength. It can reduce various existential anxieties and angsts so long as they aren't TOO bad, but falls short when life is sufficiently disappointing or "unfair" or impersonal. So personally I have always seen the failed epistemology of faith as not providing hope or strength to face life difficulties. I have just seen it taking credit for people's personal strength and personal meaning-making and purpose-making, which can be very powerful sources of hope and strength.
