You were forced to pay for car and medical insurance (as well as taxes for fire and police), not abortion of fetuses. Abortion after the second trimester is illegal unless the life of the mother is threatened. Most states have it illegal after the first trimester.

Just like the choice allows:
1. you can find an insurance provider that doesn't cover abortion.
2. you can pay the penalty tax for not having the proper medical insurance.
3. you can beseech your government to do things your way instead
etc.
You aren't being forced to pay for abortions, just like I'm not being forced to pay for the insurance of Church buildings. We pull our funds, but what I do with insurance funds is my responsibility, not the insurance members.
If you people actually took on responsibility for forcing women to grow their fetuses and have their babies than I would actually bat an eye.

Uhhh, generally not. Fundamentalists can get away with this, but mainstream stuff like Episcopalian don't even speak up when A is the case in these.
Let's also talk about atheism and how it's gotten away with some crap. Uhhh, like forbidding the pledge of allegiance in school because it has "under god" in it.
If you personally don't wanna say the pledge of allegiance, don't say it (you commie!) but don't forbid other people from practicing their religion within the confines of school.
