The ark was an Anunaki extraterrestrial mothership and it used anti-gravity propulsion fueled by dark matter. It contained a quantum computer with the complete genetic codes of all living animals, which were grown in test tubes and released after the flood.

We've got a responsibility to keep the myth up with our times and culture, ya know.

I agree, much more plausible than a man building a wooden boat that is totally inadequate for the task of saving 1,250,000 different species from a global flood, all while feeding them and preventing then from eating each other for a year.

What would one feed the carnivorous anyway?

Why would this craft need to be powered as it was only supposed to ride out a flood, it had no destination therefore wouldnt need any motive power,
It just needed to float.

Good thing Noah didn't say "I don't want to kill a helpless tree Lord, they have feelings too. They are our ancestors".
