There have now been thousands of planets discovered outside of this solar system. If the only reason God created the universe has to do with THIS planet and HUMAN affairs, then why were all these other planets created and stars, not to mention the rest of the animals on this planet?
Why not just created ONE star (the sun) and just ONE planet (the earth) and just humans and only the animals that are needed for us to eat.?
Isn't the Christian God really just a human centered myth (which is the reason most of reality and creation is unimportant in it?)

So in your mind the fact that we have discovered other planets demonstrates that God is a myth.
Well, the rest of the celestial bodies were created by other Gods. After all, the multi/universe is large enough to accomodate a playground for them all!

Congratulations. You've earned the title of critical thinker. Also....for the sake of human intelligence, please do not take anything in the bible literally.
Oh they'll be fallen alright. I can predict that with certainty. Not one of them will have ever heard of human Christianity... but who knows, maybe they'll have a religion like it and call us infidels, killing all those who don't proclaim the Colonists' believes.
Anyway... I was thinking something more along the Mormon mythology.
They were put there by satan meant to mislead and confuse via questions such as in the OP. Or they were put there by God as a test, to you know, ignore reality and trust words in a book above all else. Or hey if you're mormon they are there for a reward for those who become 'gods' themselves to one day rule over
IF the God of the Bible is literally true, then what's the point of extra solar plants, stars and the universe?
Are you asking why there are so many planets in our solar system? Maybe they are there to protect Earth against incoming comets and meteors and such. Or maybe they are for no reason we can appreciate. Typical scientific thinking: If I don't already have the answer, the answer must not exist.
