Oh absolutely it has. I can't remember a time where I have ever been able to actually sit down and have a civil conversation with a Christian on the kind of things we talk about here. I think maybe it was the way my approach was to them and possibly the way theirs was to mine that never seemed to make it work. If anybody remembers when I first came on the board I was pretty much on the offense and I think that has changed. I have really enjoyed some of the conversations I have had with Alpha, Blueberry, and many others. I also have had some excellent conversations with other atheists, and it also opened my eyes to how many other atheists there are. Maybe it's an easier thing for people to admit on the internet than face to face but that's why I keep coming back here.

CD didn't change me, t'was the hot pressure iron a christian friend has me under that has me lacking my usual politeness. Most everyone here seems nice and well intentioned, even if some of you anger me by leading children down a dark path of self hatred.

Hoosier's preaching to christrians struggling with their homosexual inclinations and the bible. I would be holding them close telling them they're perfect just the way they are, God loves them, pat them on the head and send them on their merry way.

It's difficult to try and live your life the way you know will make you happy if everyone looks down from a pillar a smug look about their face 'no, no, no' and chunks a book at your head.

You might not have gotten enough sleep last night (which I witnessed), and are feeling cranky this morning (although its afternoon now).
