The Christians are allowed a sub-forum on which their beliefs are respected . . . it would be nice to have a space to talk about unconventional spiritual beliefs . . . if it is not your cup of tea there are many other threads to pursue . . . If you wish to debunk the beliefs, you can even start a thread debunking beliefs . . . but is it too much to ask for a little space for people interested in unconventional ideas to be able to explore those ideas freely, without being distracted by having to argue for the merit of the ideas?

On october 31 2010(this year) my fiance and I's apartment building caught fire. Everyone in our building had a decent amount of water damage. The apartments next to us were water damaged, the apartment below us was water damaged, the apartment across from us the fire ripped through it. But, our apartment was not touched by water, smoke, or fire. Our two cats where in the apartment and they suffered no harm. The people next to us lost alot of electronics because of the water and heat from the fire. We lost nothing.

Where we lived, alot of the people did drugs, abused welfare, and claimed disability. We lived in one of my cities ghettos. We could feel the negative energy in those apartments, everyone smoked cigarettes and other things outside out window. We did everything to make our apartment more comfortable. After time, the tenants stopped making us feel uncomfortable and they started respecting us.

Before this my fiance lived in another unit in the same building. When she and I moved in together we quickly realized it was too small. So we moved into a two bedroom unit in the same building, opposite wing and one floor up. Her old unit was the one that started the fire.

It's odd how out of all the units in the building ours remained untouched. While everyone else suffered great loss.

What would you call this?
I love stories like this.
