I know this is a majaor stereotype which I abosolutely hate but I just can't help myself lol. I have a bad habit of when I see a guy in a truck I automatically think he is a do it himself guy. The kind of guy that will fix something even if he doesn't know how to fix it. When I see a guy in a car I always think he is most likely the kind of guy that would hire someone to fix something. Do other women think this way or is it just me? And if this stereotype were true..would u want a truck man or a car guy? I'd have to say mine is a truck man.

It's pretty accurate. Truck guys are typically more blue-collar with mechanical skills...maybe worked construction etc.
I'm a car guy, I do basic things and am fairly handy but if a new bathroom needs to be put in....I'm hiring it out. On the plus side...the bathroom doesn't stay ripped up for 8 months while the truck guy "gets around to it". LOL
I don't find this stereotype to be true at all. My guy drives a Volkswagon Golf but can strip a Beetle down, service it completely, design and build his own entertainment unit, create the media PC center from scratch (Linux open source) to go into the entertainment unit, cook a gourmet meal, run cable, paint, you name it. The man's a wonder and I'm blessed.
I think trucks should only be used by those who need them for business purposes.

Ha-ha, I prefer both, but if I have to choose I'll take the car guy.
Either or.......as long as it's not one of those rediculous lifted trucks......seriously....never fails....every single guy i've met that drives a lifted truck has a small **** .........So ladies, stay away from men with "small mans syndrome" lol

Well, I despise trucks, but I find it helpful to have some sort of a truck or a van (doesn't matter) in the household to use when needed. Just an utility vehicle so to speak...
