Classic. Wow that show has created a lot of mainstays in our everyday language use, huh? I still remember watching the Simpson's pilot on the Tracy Ulman show - the dog fart at the end, omg I knew this cartoon would take off.

It is still in the groove all these years later.

That's how Seinfeld is, we quote lines from that show all day. Puffy shirt and man hands are just a few things off the top of my head. Lol

Elaine-Ew that ice tea is awful.
Jerry-Ya got to shake it.
Elaine-I'm tired of shaking, you got to shake everything!
Jerry-Yeah this is difficult (shakes bottle)

So about a month into my new job; my manager today mentions that pretty much everyone in the department wears the company polo shirts and we will get you out of that shirt and tie eventually. My first polo is being shipped and I have to pay for the others. My job has a very strict dress code outside the polos. I want to get into short sleeves bad but I also have to pay rent the first of the month.

But if that is the biggest gripe my manager has, I'm doing a damn good job otherwise.

Early in my career I was in a position that I had to wear shirt and a tie. I moved into a position that was an advance and I got to be able to wear Pollo shirts. Much better, I'm not a dressy kinda of guy so it worked well for me.

Summer time it is a polo shirt. I actually bought a button up short sleeve shirt. Which is something I rarely wear.

I can't stand restrictive clothes of any kind. If I wear anything long-sleeved, I'm constantly pushing them up to a 3/4-length without even realizing it. I couldn't imagine having to wear a shirt and tie like you guys do.

I'm going to try and bring back the old saying of calling a guy a "cat" as in, man, that is one cool cat. I might start to work on groovy too. Hell, lets just go full 70's over here.
