Well, it looks like my son will FINALLY get some state disability for his accident as he continues to recover. This has been a fight... But I am happy for little bits of good news!

I am craving Gingerbread cookies.

Congratulations, for your beloved son getting the state disability...

I have a very small kitchen in this apartment. I call it my Betty Crocker kitchen, like those play ovens we made tiny cakes under a lightbulb with?
I’m making cookies anyway! I don’t care if it’s difficult, I need Christmas cookies this year.

I've always liked the finger cookies, with nuts & powdered sugar...

That’s what I was thinking! Weird. Fudge too. Goes good with my White Chocolate Godiva liqueur.

I like baklava. It has been years since I’ve had any.

Four days off of work. I think I can use it. Not sure if I can muster enough to work some overtime.

Am I weird? I don’t like chocolate chocolate, white chocolate or fudge. Hot chocolate is ok as long as it’s not too sweet, and not too “chocolaty”. I like chocolate chip cookies.... sans the chips. Lol
When my mom made them she’d separate some of the dough before adding the chips and bake mine without. I always gave my chocolate Halloween candy to my brother.

I think it stems from eating a ton of those “malted milk balls” when I was a kid and got sick to my stomach.
I got queasy just writing that.

Most of my life i very seldom ever had much in the way of sweets. With the exception of Christmas, sometimes, & Halloween when i was a young'un.
Then, when i quit smoking & mostly gave up beer & booze, i got a taste for popsicles /dreamsicles/some ice cream, in the summer. I don't indulge in any sweet stuff to the extreme, just once in a while. I like a good homemade strawberry cheesecake, for instance...yum...

I am not a fan of chocolate. I rather have oatmeal raisin cookies instead of chocolate chip cookies. I don’t care for chocolate cake. Brownies, I can get on board with.
