Does anyone else ever feel affronted when someone posts a video to make a point? (Especially when they just write, "this is interesting" and don't summarize the video.) Like, a link to an article that they can quote or I can skim, no problem, but asking me to spend several minutes watching a video is just too much. Won't do it. Can't make me.

Auraliea, I've been moaning lately about how I miss the "food porn" thread in the food forum. People post pictures of the delicioso food they made. I threatened Chow that I was going to make some Valentine meals to bump that thread up. You don't happen to have any pictures or...?...

Yeah, I'm often not in a place where I can just watch a video.

I had a poster who used to PM me a lot, and I told him I wasn't going to watch videos, and he's still send them. Even though every time, I was like, "I'm not going to watch that. Maybe later. But probably not."

There is a friend, we worked together some 15 years ago. I'll call her Sunshine. She had some fun with another coworker of ours, whom I will call Farm Boy. Or...FB for short, which is also appropriate! Well, she was experienced and he was not, and she was just having a good time with him, uninhibited sort of gal that she was. And one day he asked her to marry him, and she laughed in his face because she just wasn't even trying to do anything like that. And they weren't a good match for that, either. It was a silly idea from front to back, and she told him so. Well he wanted to settle down and start a family (another reason for them not to marry, since Sunshine had her tubes tied due to a genetic condition she didn't want to pass on.) And so he got together with a more wholesome woman, we'll call Church Girl. Some months in, though, he found that Church Girl didn't want to do a lot of the stuff that Sunshine used to in the bedroom. Flat out refused, in fact. So he started propositioning Sunshine for a secret affair. Sunshine was having none of that, she was friends with Church Girl and they all worked together (same place I did, so I had a front row seat to all this.) FB was so persistent in his jokes, innuendos, and even pleas for Sunshine to sneak off with him and give him some of the fun stuff, that she finally ended up quitting the job. She'd asked him plainly and clearly to STOP IT and he would not.

I'm still friends with Sunshine on Facebook. She posted something last night about wishing she didn't have to go back to work Monday morning. And who shows up in the comments but Farm Boy, saying, "You should still work here, we have it off!" (former workplace was a banking center) I sat there looking at his comment, wondering if he ever knew why Sunshine quit that job. I doubt it. Took a peek at his profile and saw, he's still married to Church Girl and they have kids now. Kind of ironic, that comment.

Unfortunately, my friends and I completely massacred them. We were so excited to dig in because we hadn't had them before hahahaha. I got ya next time though lol
