Several lustrum ago, there was 'Chicago Club' in Tijuana. They charged everyone $5.00 for drinks....
Juarez still has the Kentucky Club, but I don't remember going there. The Manhattan was so cool though, in a rough around the edges sort of way, aside from its price variations, lol.
Although Ive been to San Diego, I never went to Tijuana. Never Brownsville/Matamoros either. Just Juarez.

Visiting Louisville for weekend. Left DC with 28 degree weather, probably going to leave Louisville with low 20s weather next week to come back to DC with 30s highs. I guess this is how the upper Southeast is going to be this winter and I HATE it.

That’s a lot of driving! At least you don’t have snow... do you still do Uber? I made the mistake of going out for a couple hours today, every ping brought me to the sea of 1000s for the MN Gopher game. Pure hell.
I am in France, drinking French wine and eating French cheese. Planning to stay a month or 5 or 6. Lol My last trip started out to be 2 months and I ended up staying 8. Thinking about possibly retiring here one day.... in the not too distant future.

I am not rich. I have dual citizenship, and inherited my grand parents country home/farm. Now it’s a garden
Co-op where folks can grow fruit and vegetables for free as long as they donate a percentage of what they grow to the poor. There’s a family that lives on the property as caretakers. Had my wine and cheese, today I am finding out how much I am going to have to pony up to keep the place in shape.

Actually flying both ways.
Did Lyft for the Nats World Series. Good for the pockets, bad for my sanity.
I start floor training for my new job tomorrow, I'm a little nervous but hopefully everything goes smoothly. Wish me luck!
