The Stereotype is NOT country. It's the worst stereotype of trashy redneck. (Like if someone showed a video of "Thuggin it and loving it" and said all black people were like that.)

And just as pathetic a reflection on the person claiming it.

Country people are (Typically, not all) more independent, and respectful, and willing to help a neighbor.
It's what happens when you've never seen a cop, or a garbage truck go down your road.
