And also, are these picky men considered "high maintenance"?

"Picky" as in picky eaters, picky with consumer goods, particular about certain things and people they spend time with, etc etc

I don't understand. What do you mean by a "picky personality," i.e. picky about what?

I have never really heard of anyone who is picky about all of those things. Most people are picky about one or the other.

Yeah, I'd say there are plenty.

Yes, I'm very picky, but I'm low maintenance. It's not about money and accumulation. It's about specificity. I'm actually a minimalist.

Food - will not eat ANY spicy ethnic food - I rarely do fine dining, but will go if someone is treating
Clothing - I have a picture of what I want to buy in my head, go in there, if it exists, fine, if it doesn't, I leave. I only buy clothing at the outlets, at the Nordstrom Rack, or from the Eddie Bauer/LL Bean catalog
Grooming - bring on the Great Clips coupons or bring on the Vietnamese lady salons, and let's keep it under $10
Travel - I have a very small bucket list and other places don't interest me, with the exception of Oceania, which I have yet to see
Electronic gizmos - no interest, what I save on those, I spend on travel
Transportation - I will NOT drive a foreign car, and I've even factory ordered a couple of cars to get exactly what I want, because I didn't like what they had on the lots anywhere in the metro area.
Grammar and reasoning - stupid or packaged people bore the shyt out out of me, so there's a lot of people who don't interest me, and that means fewer "great bars, man" happy hours and more $ in my pocket. Since this correspondingly bothers others about me, I get the (hand-on-the-hip) "eew, you're so weird."

Wouldn't it be great if men could factory order women? *ducking to avoid the tomatoes hurled at me*

Picky when it comes to women?

Doesn't look right.

Check OkCupid, plenty of women show as being selective or very selective in replying but few men show as anything other than as replying to all emails. (Just in case you are going to question me about how do I know about the men, my female cousin Rita has a profile on OkC and she was showing me her side of the street when I visited her).
