I know, i know, some of you are going to give me the lecture about how i should see every woman as an Individual and not make Generalizations. For the non-soapbox crowd, what do you think are the advantages and disadvantages of being with someone older than you vs. someone younger than you?

It depends. But I bet most of the men here will say they prefer younger women, because bla blah blah this, or bla blah blah that, or whatever reason they like them.

Older women...

Generally pretty easy going and drama free
Typically pretty indepdent, finacially and emotionally
Things are a lot more simple

Drawbacks:

Generally with younger guys for "second wind" and things never get serious
Either are beyond child barring age, and generally don't want children
Big time residual drama, ex husband or grown/semi-grown kids gets nasty quick

younger women:

Can't think of any good things besides they're physically in their prime. And are a better child bearing age.

drawbacks:

Too many to list, flakey, ignorant, irresponsible, financially dependent, not business minded. I could go on.

In general I would rather have a woman my age or close to it.

Advantages to dating younger (20s) women:

1) In general they're better looking (firmer everything, if you know what I mean)
2) More likely to be happy-go-lucky since they're not in a rush to have babies or get married
3) Less emotional and mental baggage since they haven't been burned in relationships yet
4) They're hotter (in general) (I know I said this but it's worth repeating )

Disadvantages to dating younger women:

1) Flaky
2) Lot's of competition from other guys, so any girl that's half-way decent looking will basically have her pick of guys (until she becomes an "older" woman, haha). I think this increases the odds that she'll cheat on you.

Advantages to dating older (30s and up) women:

1) They know they're no longer the hottest game in town, so they tend to be easier to get into the sack
2) More sexually experienced and less inhibited, so the sex could be better if you overlook the sagging you-know-what

Disadvantages to dating older women:

1) They can be desperate. Think non-stop texting and calling.
2) They might want to settle down soon so they can have kids.

I would agree with the younger women statements but there is much to be appreciated with experienced women.

1) Less insecure
2) Established
3) They know what they want
4) They don't play childish games
5) Experienced

I agree. lots of "Vs" threads in the last many weeks. Old Vs young, Bad boys Vs. Nice guys, Blue collar vs. white collar etc. it's starting to feel like the WWE Royal rumble up in the relationship boards LOL.

Well I guess older women is relative to the guy. I'm 33, so an older woman for me would be a woman in her mid 40s or early 50s. I think any woman younger than 40 would be my immediate peer group. I know I don't like young women because mentally I have very little in common with some 22 or 23 year old girl.
