Got rejected but funny thing is these guys that I asked out became stalkers. They were stalking me and bragging to their boys "hey she asked ME out" Who does that?
very interesting you said that, I had a man do something similar after I asked him, he pointed me out to his friends with that same 'she wanted me and asked me out,' etc. It's just a big joke to them and was pretty embarrassing. He wasn't a stalker or anything though. Again, I think women need to be aware they still won't give you the time of day just b/c you're asking them. Big deal.

That's happened to me more than once after a rejection. The guy goes over to his friends, points at me and says 'THAT wanted ME' and they all have a good laugh over it. He gets a self esteem boost, and I get to add yet another rejection to my list

That particular incidence happened once and it was enough for me. I don't need to be cut down and ostracized like that, so no thanks. I agree it's an ego thing on their part, to show they're desirable to women.....not sure though if you had it happen a couple of times why you would continue asking them??
The trick is to figure out how to stay out of the way of those bullets in the first place. Far away.
I think we have to encounter them at least once so that we can have a better idea of what to look for in the future.
For me, I've learned that any guy standing at the bar with a group of friends around him is one to watch. Especially, if he constantly turns to his friend after making a joke, or is being extremely loud and annoying to the bartender.
I asked a man out once when I was 18. He said no and I was so hurt I have never done it again.
