What is the main reason you wouldn't date someone of another race? (guy, doctor)

I'm am certainly not against that; however, this is not uppermost
in my mind at the outside... I'm more considering the person as a
whole rather than one aspect.
i think a reason not mentioned in the poll is that people date interacially for sex and to be "adventrous". you are not fooling anyone. we all know in the end you will most likly marry someone in your same race & culture. and yes i think culture is just as important as race.
Well, considering I've never met someone else with the same racial make up as me (except for a teenage girl and a guy on the internet) - I pretty much have to date outside my race!

Believe it or not, I went to school with a guy who is exactly the same ethnic background as you. He was a tool, but that has nothing to do with his ethnicity.

I don't find this true in my experience. My black female friends actually attrat white men as well. There are plenty of white guys that are attracted to me and my friends as black women. I have never had any problems. Maybe it depends on where you live and your environment. I have also dated Hispanic guys. I don't have any problems dating outside my race. In fact I rotate! Lol! I dated a white guy, then a Hispanic guy and married and had kids with a black guy.
I don't find Asian, Indian or Middle Eastern guys attractive but I am not oppose to it.

Agreed, where you live, family acceptance and level of comfort. Seems to be a good pairing and according to Census statistics is one of the most stable WRT a lasting marriage, but it comes down to the person in the end.
For me, I would say more cultural than anything. I have dated women from most every back ground and typically date Black and White American woman today. I'm not closed to other ethnic backgrounds but I don't see myself with a foreign woman because of the possibility of them not adjusting to an American lifestyle.

no asian people here and i dont find them attractive. culturak diff also means religious differences with causes more issues. a lot of interacial marriages have a higher divorce rate, so it doesnt work out in the end for evrybody. i think you will find most people only date within their race but wont admit it
You say you don't find Asians attractive,but aren't you the same poster that got angry when some poster said he didn't find black women attractive?

I know some will find this hard to accept or believe but while I am not prejudiced against any race, there are races I'm not attracted to because of appearance. They're not unattractive or anything. I'm not just drawn to the look. The best way I can relate that is with food. Caviar.... Fillet mignon.... There's nothing wrong with these foods. They just don't appeal to me. I should probably shut up before I really get myself in trouble.
I like them all. I'm like a kid a in candy store. I don't care about race/ethnicity. I would have a problem marring somebody of a different religion.
