I was speaking with a friend of mine the other day and he revealed that when he was 23 he had a 83 yo lover. He had been sleeping with women since about the age of 13, and considered this lady no less of a treat than the others. Any thoughts?

Most people who start having casual sex when they are 13 have twisted values, and it isn't their fault. This isn't an age difference issue, it's an issue of someone who has no sexual boundaries. It is very sad.

And at that age difference, I find that to be too much.
More details : He said the woman was a business client and they went to her apartment to talk business after dinner. Once there she invited him to stay over since it was late and asked him if he wanted the couch or the bed. He picked the bed and they both went to bed together and that's when she grabbed him. They were lovers for 6 months after that.

ok, well since he was not underage at the time.....well then can i relish in an idealistic and perhaps overly romantic notion that the relationship was like that in the movie harold and maude....one of my all time favs.
sadly, real life is seldom like hollywood, but i'm still of the viewpoint that what happens between two consenting adults is fine and well and none of my business. if it lasted 6 months, that says something......i will keep my rose coloured glasses on and trust that it must have been beautiful and beneficial to both parties, in ways that escape my limited imagination.
