I'm looking for a pasta salad recipe that is not creamy or too sweet. Thanks

Here's a real easy salad that I make:

I use tri-color pasta, add to it chopped red pepper, provolone cubes & pepperoni slices. Mix with Italian salad dressing. Chill.

Hope you like it!

Also you can use broccoli, peppers, onions, grape tomatoes and Italian dressing.

Ive been making this salad at work -

Bow tie macaroni
mayo
Dijon mustard
tri-colored bell peppers (in season now)
green bell pepper
celery
Italian seasoning
Parsley

Optional - shredded cheese - cheddar or any kind you like

Okay so cook the macaroni, not soggy
mix mayo and Dijon mustard in a mixing bowl -
I can not tell you measurements because I cook in bulk
but you can judge accordingly.
Add chopped peppers and celery to the mayo mixture and
mix well. Add the cooked macaroni to this mix.

To any successful salad; always mix together your dressings and
vegetables in a mixing bowl then add the macaroni or potatoes.
Never pour mayo directly onto Marconi and try to blend it together.

I dont' think this salad is sweet, just crunchy and colorful

Don't have a recipe, was strictly by guess or by golly but I once made a pasta salad with halved grape tomatoes, shredded lettuce, crumbled bacon, and rotini pasta dressed with mayo, S&P. It did a credible job of imitating the taste of a BLT and you could always use whole-wheat pasta and claim health benefits

Thanks for all the recipes. They all sound good so I'll be trying them all sooner or later. I like trying a new one each week.

This is a make shift recipe that can be altered to suit. During a visit with a son and dil we had this. She threw it together out of necessity instead of a shopping trip. I like it hot or cold as a pasta salad.

Smoked Turkey Casserole

1 to 1 1/2 cups chopped smoked turkey
3 cups cooked pasta
1 can cream of chicken soup
8 oz fat free sour cream
1 cup shreded cheddar cheese
Italian bread crumbs

Mix all ingredients except 1/2 cup of the cheddar cheese & the bread crumbs in a casserole dish.

Top with 1/2 cup of shreded cheese and top with bread crumbs.
Microwave 10 minutes.

When I ask for the recipe I got a blank stare. There wasn't one so she finally gave us this as best she could remember. It's a basic that you can take liberties with.

I made this one this weekend...

Bow Tie Pasta
Cucumbers
Black Olives
Red Onion
Grape Tomatoes
Feta Cheese

Mix with Italian Dressing. I made my own with the mix packet...and used red wine vinegar. TASTY.
