Even if the "floor area ratio" and "minimum set back requirements" are the same for corner lots the experience of having a back-yard that is fully exposed to cross street traffic can turn off many buyers. If the home is well cited this can be minimized, but it is just another reason that corners are something to be leary of...

Personally, I'd pick "A".

But then I re-read the title of the thread:

Still, if I planned to stay for more than a few years and do a quick flip, I'd pick "A". Quality of Life is hugely important to me.

Some things can not be quantified in dollars; like mature landscaping, neighbors who have been in the area for decades and being able to walk to work/stores/parks etc.

We also find that our 80+ year old Tudor is more cost-effective utility-bill wise than our most recent "modern" home: a)shade from trees b) thick brick and plaster walls and c) storm windows (act as double pane w/o the condensation issues).

My two cents. Good luck w/ your decision!
