Gee, I wonder when the DOJ and courts will begin the hearing and lawsuits against attorneys for their rates?
Oh, wait, probably never since lawyers rule the country. Their fees are far more exorbitant than what agents charge. I've heard of it being as high as 66%. Where do we go from here?

You mean when the attorney is sitting with an open file, and takes a call from another client, so both of them get billed for his time?
I'm probably overly critical of NAR but over the course of my career they have appeared to me to be a wasteful, clumsy excuse for a professional organization. I wonder if real estate agents would be any worse off if NAR never existed. Their performance during the housing crash of 2007-2009 was particularly embarrassing. Is there anything they've done for us that makes their existence a good thing?

NAR does lobby strongly in support of a stable housing market.
Then the members get involved at the retail level......
Not sure if this was the Inman link someone posted earlier because I refuse to pay to read the National Enquirer of the real estate world but the PLS.com anti-trust case was dismissed:

Nope.
Not the case.
But, one I had not seen before.
I get Inman at $99/year. That is all it is worth, if that much. Never $199.
I like to jab Jay Thompson for endlessly trolling and shilling for Zillow.
