I see it often in the Agent remarks on MLS. I just got a counter offer on a home for my clients and the counter offer included the sentence "Listing agent is related to seller." When I see flips, the usually also include in the remarks that the agent has a financial interest in the sale of the home.
The most important place to disclose it is on the contract (in Texas at least). We put it in the Special Provisions section. Placing it on MLS is good for agents, but the other party needs to be made aware as well.
In Florida, it is disclosed in the Realtors Remarks section in the MLS.
