Deck contractors (Wake Forest: home, inspectors, live)

As we begin to get settled in our new Wake Forest home we are thinking of covering our deck and extending it. Not sure we want to screen it in (cost) but we want the option of the fan by covering it. I would appreciate any recommendations for deck builders out there serving the Wake Forest area. Thanks in advance!

one word of advice, if you pull the permits (structural, electric, etc.), you're responsible for dealing with any issues that arise regarding the project's conformance with building codes. Translation: BIG HEADACHE. If you're going to pay a contractor to design and build something, make them responsible for the permits (and put it in writing in the cointract). they should know the NC code requirements AND any deviations allowed (or not allowed) by the
inspectors for the town in which you live.
