I've enjoyed eating/drinking at Natty Greene's in Greensboro a few times. The beer is good, but not great. What sets it apart in Greensboro is the setting...a great old building with a killer patio in a nice part of downtown. Hopefully they can recreate some of that ambiance in Raleigh.

The Raleigh location is in the old Electric Company building (formerly Prime Only and Southend Brewery prior to that). The building itself is awesome, but very large. There is an outdoor patio on the side that was utilized a lot during the Prime Only incarnation when the weather was nice (Southend was before my time in Raleigh, so can't comment). I peeked through a window Wednesday night and it is looking pretty good, with schoolhouse lights and a lot of wood details. Definitely looks warm and inviting.

Looking forward to their opening!

That is a great building...hopefully the beer & food will be superior to Southend's. It's considerably bigger than NG's GSO location, so hopefully they can draw in enough folks to make it work!
