Anyone know what is going on over there? Thought it was fireworks or whatever but it's a bit far for those. It has gone off every night now right around dark.
Thanks for those in the know

I don't know what it is but I've been wondering the same thing. It went on for several hours last night. Haven't heard it as much tonight.

Default Diwali Festival of Lights

Perhaps it is related to the celebration of Diwali which I beleive starts today?

Diwali is one of the biggest festival of Hindus, celebrated with great enthusiasm and happiness in India. The festival is celebrated for five continuous days, where the third days is celebrated as the main Diwali festival or 'Festival of lights'. Different colorful varieties of fireworks are always associated with this festival. On this auspicious day, people light up diyas and candles all around their house.

Talked to a guy who works at WTVD and he looked into it. He says it is fireworks from the State Fair. Said they have been shooting them off every night since the Fair opened.
