We've about 20 players of many different levels in the South of Raleigh Tennis Mens Ladder now.

Most of the players live in Holly Springs, Apex and Fuquay but we have a couple from Cary and Raleigh as well. Most of our matches are being played at the Middle Creek Tennis Courts in Cary. We also play at Holly Springs High School, Apex Community Park and Action Park in Fuquay.

We've also got 1 woman in the Mixed Doubles and Womens Doubles ladders. We need some more people interested in that so she can get some matches in as well.

If you live in the area and are interested in playing tennis, come and join us. The South of Raleigh Tennis Ladders and Partner Finders are FREE.

Hey John I am not familiar with a tennis ladder league. Is it offiliated with the USTA in any way? How are the matches set up? Are there teams or is it all individual play?

Hi,

The club is not affiliated with the USTA. We're just a bunch of people in the area who get together to play. A tennis ladder is an easy way to find tennis matches and tennis partners. We have tennis ladders for men, women and doubles. The most used ladder at this time is the mens singles ladder.

The way it works is... you sign up for the ladder and then challenge people to matches. After playing a match, you record the scores on the ladder (if you want) and earn points. You can use the ladders solely as partner finders for practice or you can play matches and record the scores. The easiest way to figure it out is to sign up and see if you like it. Everyone is very nice and we all have a great time.

The tennis ladders/partner finders are free and there are no prizes awarded for leading a ladder. The one thing that the leader of our ladders gets is the best title in all of tennis. The ladder leader is "The Master of the Universe and Supreme Ruler of the Cosmos".
