I will be moving to Chapel Hill for grad school in August and don't know much about the area. I'm currently doing research on apartments and just wanted to know if anyone could give me any feedback on a place called "Chapel View Apartments?"

Also, if anyone knows of any decent places close (on the bus line or walking distance) to UNC, all suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks!

You may want to check out Carrboro. It's close by and the rent will probably be less.

Thanks ; I have looked at some websites of apartment complexes in Carrboro. Do you know of any specific places that are quiet (ie. not too many crazy undergrad partying lol) by any chance?

We looked at Autumn Woods in Carrboro. They are very reasonable and seemed to be clean and quiet. I've also heard that Alta Springs is nice as well. If you don't mind paying top dollar then Meadowmont is a very nice complex. Good luck.

Rock Creek which is a little farther out is pretty quiet. Any place in Carrboro is going to be quiet. Glen Lennox is another good one. Beware of any place that offers 2 bedrooms for $500 as they truly are "too good to be true"
