Went along to the Raleigh Christmas parade this morning - very chilly but sunny and a lot of fun
Took the Mrs and the dog along too

Nice shots! Thanks for sharing. I went last year, but missed it this go around. I think it is a nice parade. Cool looking dog too!

Was that the longest parade ever? The bands kept coming! But I agree--a nice parade, and I'm glad we made the trip from Durham...

We went and had a great time. I love the bands, holiday floats, classic cars, etc. I could live without the monster truck and the geico float

Because this parade is put on by the Greater Raleigh Merchants Association....always has been. ANd they want you to start thinking about Christmas Shopping as SOON as possible.

ah. a christmas parade before the thanksgiving parade just seems too fast. (and people think southerners are slow!)
