Not that this is an overly great photo, but it just makes me happy....these are the trees behind our house, which we will be closing on in a month!

I am sure some of you have some great photos of the colors in the triangle. Share!

Default Raleigh Memorial Cemetary, November 2008

Here's a photo I shot last weekend while visiting Raleigh Memorial Cemetary:

No manipulation other than setting the colors to a more vivid setting on my camera and cropping. Hopefully, this weekend, we'll have clear skies and plenty of opportunity to photograph some wonderful country color... if the rains don't knock off all the leaves by then. This, I never experienced on the west coast. Gotta love all that color.

If anyone knows where to capture some amazing color and scenic shots, can you post them with your images?

Great shot, CaliBoy!

I will say that I've noticed the leaves around here are right about at peak, it seems, but the areas where one would go to shoot nicer wilderness pics, which are generally at higher elevations, are past peak. Oh well, there's always next year!

Ah, I did not know. Well, next year, right? In the meantime, I've been taking some incredible hikes this last two weeks since I've been back. Not rigorous ones, mind you, but hikes in areas that have the most wonderful color. Right in our own backyard!

Speaking of which, that must be wonderful to look out your backyard and see all those trees everyday. Nice deck, too.

Thx for compliment, Sneezecake!

Ooooh nice!

Here's mine from this past weekend at the Clemmons Educational Forest in Clayton (the kids LOVE the talking tree and talking rock trails).

Here are a few I took the other day in Woodcroft. No color enhancements either! Fall is one of the reasons I missed the South so far when I moved to Arizona. Glad to be back!
