Did you check out Huntington Athletic Club and Apartment Homes on Morrisville? They seem to be pretty pet friendly and they have a pond and fairly picturesque landscaping.
It all looks very nice, but I've heard that the Capital Blvd / Mini City / Triangle Town Center area is the worst in Raleigh for crime and gangs. Is it that bad?
Hello, my sister moved to Southern Oaks off of Davis right near RTP. Traffic can get heavy at times due to work on the road to expand it . It is a very nice complex, she lives in one of the buildings with a private elevator and her apartment is brand new. It is technically in Durham county, but close enought to 540 , 40 , Cary and Morrisville...good luck with your search.
I've been using Google Earth to check out the lay of the land on various communities. Both "Marquis at Silverton" and "Marquis at Cary Parkway" look like they'd be perfect for dog walking and general strolling. The buildings appear to be well-kept, with enough space between them, and plenty of greenspace.
Has anyone lived in either one of these communities, or can offer any opinion one way or another?
I live at Silverton. The apartments are nice, quiet and the property really is well-kept. I found Silverton to offer a better price than the apartments in BC. A small group of moms go strolling every couple days around 9-10am.
I think Silverton would be an excellent place for a pet, plenty of greenspace, and paved walking trails. Within walking distance of my apartment is a great park, off the Cary Parkway. I often see people walking dogs around the community.
Hope this helps. PM me if you have any questions.
